Refund and Cancellation Policy

Last updated 29 September 2026. In force from 29 September 2026.

In short

If a course is not right for you, email support@dermatooh.com within 14 days of your purchase and we refund the full amount. You do not have to give a reason. There is no subscription, so there is nothing to cancel later.

1. The 14-day money-back guarantee

Every purchase, including The Complete Library, comes with a 14-day guarantee. Within 14 calendar days of the payment, ask for a refund for any reason, or none, and we refund 100% of what you paid. This is a commercial guarantee we give voluntarily, on top of your legal rights.

2. The statutory right of withdrawal

Consumers in Portugal, the rest of the European Union and the United Kingdom normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase without giving a reason (in Portugal, Decree-Law 24/2014). For digital content that is supplied immediately, that right ends once supply begins, provided the consumer expressly asked for immediate supply and acknowledged that the right would be lost (article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU and article 17 of Decree-Law 24/2014).

At checkout we ask you to confirm exactly that, because the course is delivered within minutes of payment. We then confirm your request in the delivery email. Our 14-day money-back guarantee still applies in full, so in practice you keep the same 14 days to change your mind. If you prefer not to give that confirmation, email us before buying and we will arrange a purchase with delivery after 14 days.

3. How to ask for a refund

  1. Email support@dermatooh.com from the address you used to buy, or use the contact form and choose "Refund request".
  2. Include the order reference from your confirmation email or receipt if you have it. If not, we will find the order for you.
  3. That is all. No forms to post, no calls and no questions.

We confirm your request within two working days and process the refund through Stripe to the card you paid with, within 14 days at the latest. Depending on your bank, the money appears in your account within 5 to 10 working days. We cannot refund to a different card or by another method. When a refund is made, access to the refunded course ends.

4. After 14 days

After the guarantee period, purchases are final, except in the cases below or where the law of your country gives you more rights, in which case the law prevails.

5. Faulty or not as described

If a lesson does not open, is incomplete, or the course clearly differs from its description, tell us and we will fix it. If we cannot fix it within a reasonable time, you are entitled to a full refund at any time, under Portuguese Decree-Law 84/2021 on digital content and the equivalent rules in other countries.

6. Payment or delivery problems

  • Charged twice: we refund the duplicate payment immediately.
  • Paid but received nothing: see delivery and access. If we cannot deliver, we refund you in full.
  • A charge you do not recognise: look for DERMATOOH and write to us straight away. If you did not make the purchase, we refund it.

7. Please contact us before a chargeback

A bank dispute takes weeks and blocks your access while it is investigated. An email to us is usually solved the same day, and we never refuse a valid refund request.

8. Abuse

If the same person repeatedly buys and refunds the same course, or shares the access link before asking for a refund, we may refuse further purchases. This never affects the statutory rights described above.

Complaints

Electronic complaints book. Under Portuguese law you can file a complaint in the official electronic complaints book (Livro de Reclamações Eletrónico) at livroreclamacoes.pt. The complaint is sent to us and to the competent authority.

Alternative dispute resolution. If a consumer dispute cannot be solved with us directly, you may use a consumer dispute resolution centre. For our area this is CIMAAL, the Consumer Information, Mediation and Arbitration Centre of the Algarve (consumidoronline.pt), and nationwide the CNIACC, the National Centre for Consumer Information and Arbitration (cniacc.pt). The full list of approved centres is published on the Portuguese Consumer Portal (consumidor.gov.pt). Consumers in other EU countries may also contact the European Consumer Centre of their country.
