Copyright and Licence

Who owns the material

The courses, including their text, routines, trackers, checklists and layout, and the content of this website are protected by copyright under the Portuguese Code of Copyright and Related Rights and international treaties. Unless stated otherwise, they belong to Gabriella Cardoso da Silva or are used under licence. Medical facts belong to nobody; the way we explain, sequence and organise them does.

Your licence

When you buy a course you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for yourself and the people in your household.

You may

• read the lessons on any of your devices, and print them or save them as PDF for yourself;
• fill in the trackers and checklists and take them to your own doctor;
• use what you learned to care for your children or family;
• share what you learned, in your own words.

You may not

• share, sell, rent or give away your access link or the lessons;
• upload the material to a website, drive, group, marketplace or messaging service;
• use the material with paying clients, patients or students, or present it as your own course;
• translate it or create derivative courses from it;
• remove copyright notices;
• use the material to train, fine-tune or feed an artificial intelligence system;
• use the Dermatooh name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse you, your clinic or your products.

Clinics, pharmacies and schools

A licence covers one person and their household. If you want to use a course with patients, customers or students, write to support@dermatooh.com and we will discuss a professional licence.

Quoting and reviews

You may quote short passages in a review or article with a link to this website. You may not publish whole lessons or tables.

If you believe we have used your work

If you own the rights to something published here and believe it is used without permission, write to support@dermatooh.com with: the work you believe is infringed, the exact address where it appears, your name and contact details, a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised, a statement that the information is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them, and your signature. We review every notice promptly and remove material while we investigate, in line with Portuguese Decree-Law 7/2004 on electronic commerce and the notice and takedown standard of the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act.

Third-party material

Photographs on this website are licensed stock images. They show models, not customers or patients, do not show results of any course, and are not included in the licence given to you.

Breach

A breach of this licence ends it automatically. We may withdraw access without a refund and use the remedies available under Portuguese law and the law of the country where the breach took place.
